Saying Goodbye

I was not loved well, and that’s okay. I get to love myself well now and allow others to show me the love they have to give. My choice is what I will accept and what I believe I deserve. This is an ever-changing decision and I look forward to making it each day. Thank goodness for the cathartic release that comes from burning items that have held me back and releasing weight that has been sitting on my shoulders for years.

I have power, I have choice, and I get to make the most of each day as I see fit. No one gets to tell me how to live, love, or be myself and that is the most beautiful realization I could have ever reached.
